PROJECT PERFORMANCE

Cosmic Fischer was awarded the supply of all hollow metal openings at this new-construction tower on St. Nicholas Ave in Queens, NY. All openings were built to schedule, prepared for all hardware, and field-verified prior to delivery.

CLIENT ADVANTAGE

We provided our Client with end-to-end consulting, manufacturing, supply and delivery on all Division 8 openings for this project, including a heavy focus on value-engineering the original specifications by the Architect. Our ‘value-engineering’ scope providing the same Grade 1 hardware requirements, but saved more than 55% on the bill-of-materials, amounting to more than $400,000 in construction savings. Throughout the process, Cosmic Fischer Locks representatives were onsite to walk-through the build process as concrete was poured to ensure openings were built to size. The end result provided for a zero-reject project on more than 350 openings.
